~The rat(s) is/are not to be sold, given away, or otherwise disposed of or abandoned to any person, retailer, auction, institute or other entity. Should the adopter be unable or unwilling to care for the rat(s) at any point, RTPK is to be contacted immediately and, if possible, arrangements will be made for the return of the rat(s), no questions asked (no refund will be given)

~RTPK is to be notified at the time of the above-described rat(s) death(s) with the date of death and a probable cause of death. This information is important, and it is not optional.

Pet Only – The Animal(s) is/are being adopted as a companion/pet only and may not be bred under any circumstance.

Male Breeding – Animal(s) may be bred by the adopter described above no earlier than (4) months of age. If RTPK later decides that this rat or his/her line proves detrimental to the fancy, the adopter will be required to cease any and all breedings from the above mentioned rat. Animal(s) may only be bred to a rat with at least two fully known generations of pedigree (not including the rat itself). Animal(s) may only be bred to a rat with at least two fully known generations of pedigree (not including the rat itself). Animal(s) may not be bred to anything related more than 8% to each other.

Female Breeding – Animal(s) may be bred by the adopter described above no earlier than (4) months of age and (for a first litter) no later than (12) months of age. This female may not have more than (3) litters in her lifetime. If RTPK later decides that this rat or her line proves detrimental to the fancy, the adopter will be required to cease any and all breedings from the above mentioned rat. Animal(s) may only be bred to a rat with at least two fully known generations of pedigree (not including the rat itself). Animal(s) may not be bred to anything related more than 8% to each other.

I hereby certify that all statements made by me on this adoption agreement are true and correct and that I agree to all terms of the contract. I agree that RTPK has the right to confiscate the above described rat(s) at their discretion in the event that any statements about me on the adoption questionnaire I filled out are found false, there is a reason to believe I may not be adequately caring for the rat(s), I have broken any portion of this contract.

I understand and agree that RTPK makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, about the above mentioned animal's temperament and/or healthy and is hereby absolved of any liability for future damages or expenses (veterinary or other) caused by this animal.
